Separate the checklist into things to take care of a few months before the move, 1 month before, 1 week before and then on your actual moving day. A checklist will minimize the risk of you forgetting to take care of an important detail.

Will I have to pay for anything besides labor costs for my move? Yes, you may have to pay for required packing supplies and for special care required to pack delicate or oversized items such as televisions or pianos. Make sure to discuss these fees with your moving company before your move.
